In April 1989, she joined the Ministry of Finance, where she specialized in formulating and implementing taxation policies, contributing to the National Budget, and evaluating applications for tax incentives to promote domestic and foreign investments. Her expertise in taxation policy and budget proposals became a critical asset in Malaysia’s economic planning.
Khodijah served on the boards of numerous statutory bodies and government-linked companies, including the Inland Revenue Board, Labuan Financial Services Authority, Malaysian Investment Development Authority, and Padiberas Nasional Berhad. She also chaired audit committees for several of these organizations.
Her career included international engagements and training with institutions such as the World Bank, ASEAN, OECD, and the European Union. She developed deep expertise in financial analysis, investment evaluation, and negotiating international trade and taxation agreements. Notably, she led negotiations on Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreements, Tax Information Exchange Agreements, Free Trade Agreements, and other critical economic frameworks.
Post-retirement, she was a member of the Ministry of Finance’s Tax Reform Committee (2019–2020) and currently serves as a director/trustee for the CVSKL Foundation and the Malaysian Tax Research Foundation. Since August 2022, she has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Muhibbah Engineering Berhad.

He has been part of the Information Technology (“IT”) industry for about three decades. He was the Managing Director at IBM Malaysia and IBM Brunei, as well as Director for Mid Market and Vice President for Business Partners at IBM Asia Pacific.
In his 27 years of service with IBM, he has delivered all aspects of IT products and services for clients in all industry segments in the Asia Pacific region. In 2013, he was recognised with the “Outsourcing Leader of the Year” award and he was a Council Member of PIKOM (National ICT Association of Malaysia) from 1994/1995 and 1999/2000.

He is currently a fellow of 5 other international cardiology societies, the course director for AsiaPCR and plays an important role in advancing interventional cardiovascular medicine in the region. His achievements include being an organizing chairman in various cardiology workshops and was recently awarded the prestigious Chien Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to interventional cardiology.

Kalimullah bin Masheerul Hassan, a Malaysian, aged 68, is a former journalist who served various local and international news organisations for 26 years until 1995 when he became a businessman.
He served on various Government agencies, including as Chairman of the national news agency, Bernama, the National Unity Advisory Panel, the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and the National Information Technology Council (NiTC). As a businessman, Kalimullah served on the boards of the various public listed companies as Chairman and Director, including the New Straits Times Press Berhad, of which he was Editor-in-Chief (2004-2005) and Deputy Chairman until his retirement in 2008.
He started his own boutique financial services company and investment bank, ECM Libra Financial Group Berhad with two partners, Dato’ Chua Ming Huat and Dato’ Lim Kian Onn and served as its Chief Executive Officer (2002-2004) and (2006-2010). The three partners also set up an education foundation which has won the Prime Minister’s Award for Corporate Social Responsibility twice in the last decade. Kalimullah stepped down as CEO of ECM Libra in 2010 and focuses his time in running the foundation and carrying out charity work amongst the poor.
Kalimullah remains as Chairman of the ECM Libra Foundation. He is also a Trustee of UTAR Education Foundation.

Relevant Experience:
Graduated with MBBS from Monash University in 1979. After completing internship at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, went to the United Kingdom for surgical training. Obtained the FRCS(Ed) and the FRCS(Eng) before returning to Malaysia in 1985 as a lecturer and then Associate Professor at the National University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. Started the first Vascular unit in Malaysia at the university.
Now practise as a Vascular and Endovascular surgeon at Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL) with an ever increasing Endovascular workload. Main interests include Endovascular repair of Aortic aneurysms/dissections (EVAR), Has wide experience in the treatment (Open surgery and Endovascular) of Abdominal aortic aneurysms, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Aortic dissections including fenestrated stent grafts and iliac branch grafts.
Was the founding President of the Vascular Society of Malaysia and a Past-President and Councillor of the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery.
