Ms Puah Lai Len

Ms Puah Lai Len

Ms. Puah Lai Len, a kind and soft-spoken woman from Skudai, has spent most of her life handling everything on her own.

For months, she lived with an irregular heartbeat that made even simple moments feel uncertain. Some nights, she couldn’t sleep. Some days, she held her chest, afraid of what might come next.

Still, she gathered her courage and travelled to @cvs.kl in search of help together with her brother. There, she met Dr. Razali Omar, our Consultant Electrophysiologist, assured her that a cryoballoon procedure could give her the relief she’d been longing for.

But quietly, Ms. Puah carried another worry —
“How am I going to pay for this?”

Living alone, with limited means, she feared the cost more than the procedure itself.
That’s when the CVSKL Foundation stepped in.

With support made possible by kind donors, the Foundation helped lift the financial weight off her shoulders. For the first time in a long while, Ms. Puah felt hope instead of fear.

Today, she is finally free from the pain that once controlled her days. She smiles more, laughs more, and even enjoys little outings with her siblings, moments she thought she had lost.

Ms. Puah’s story is a reminder that behind every patient is a life, a family, a hope. And when we lend a helping hand, we don’t just heal hearts; we help people live again.
